Professional Learning and Coaching Options: Molly provides consultative services to customize and collaboratively design a coherent and comprehensive plan for professional learning and coaching with the school organization. Some focus areas of interest for schools and systems: Consultative Systems Needs Assessment: Design a multi-year plan based on a collaborative needs assessment that helps to identify and addresses improvement priorities at all levels; systems, leaders, and teachers. Comprehensive Literacy Systems: Design a plan for increasing literacy instructional effectiveness and student literacy outcomes through a multi-phase plan that addresses teacher and leader learning, and implementing effective literacy systems. Educator Effectiveness and Evaluations: Design a plan for increasing the effectiveness of instructional practices using your own data from classroom observations and evaluations. This may include professional learning and coaching for observers to understand and use their criteria for effective practices and the professional learning and coaching for teachers to implement effective practices with their students. Coherent Continuous Improvement: Design a plan that builds the capacity of your team to identify areas of needs, use research based practices to impact instruction, and monitor and evaluate effectiveness. Coherence, alignment, and ownership of all stakeholders is the foundation of building a culture of collective responsibility for student learning.

Principal Mentoring and Coaching Ongoing, Job Embedded Mentoring and Coaching 12-36 months (no less than 6 months)
Principals are faced with an increasing amount of challenges as they strive to improve teaching and learning in their schools. One-on-One mentoring and coaching is an effective tool to support the growth of the principal and to increase effectiveness and longevity in the profession. Principals find the long-term relationship with a mentor supportive and helpful in the isolated role, setting goals and using standards for what principals should know and be able to do as a guide. Mentoring includes both onsite and virtual visits each month and is tailored to the need of the principal and his/her readiness level.
Standards Based Principal Development Principals & SupervisorsFull Day Workshops (1+ days and multi-day series) Job Embedded Coaching We use standards to guide instruction, school improvement, technology integration, professional learning. Principals should know and be able to guide their practices using standards. As standards change and shift, this workshop series will focus on using leadership standards to create a common language and understanding for principal practice system wide. Principals will be able to assess themselves against the standard, set personal goals for growth, and measure progress. Additionally, systems can create a focus for the workshops based on the goals of the organization and build principal capacity in growth of those goal areas. This workshop pairs well with Principal Mentoring & Coaching, creating systems for growth as well as supporting principals as the individual level.

Targeted and Intentional Small Group Reading Instruction Full Day Workshops (1+ days and multi-day series) Job Embedded Coaching All teachers in Pre-K through Grade 8 deserve to learn the strategies designed for the most intensive reading intervention, Reading Recovery®. Using a structure, model, and prompts that foster independence in students at all levels, teachers will learn how to design and implement small group Guided Reading lessons in any classroom! Teacher will diagnose students skills and strategies and provide students with the individualized instruction they need to make accelerated growth in reading and writing. Using Purposeful Learning Experiences to Foster Independent Literacy Practices Full Day Workshops (1+ days and multi-day series) Job Embedded Coaching K-8 Students should be spending much of their classroom time engaged in Purposeful Learning Experiences that foster literacy independence and that build students as readers. Teachers will engage with learning research based strategies for student to engage in these experiences independently, in pairs, and in collaborative groups with a variety of narrative and informational text. These experiences will motivate and engage every student in your classroom.
